Hello! Can you believe 2016 is almost over? Thank god… Am I right? 2016 has been a crazy year for everybody, with many ups and downs (too many downs if you ask me) but let’s not forget about all the good things. Like for me; I graduated college and now I’m living in San Francisco. Big changes this year. And I’m loving it. But I’d very much like the new year to begin to start with a clean slate.
Since I’ve moved up here, all my work has been freelance projects. I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on for a good friend on mine, Kim Hoyos. It’s called The Light Leaks; a website created to serve as a community for female and non binary filmmakers. It’s a wonderful passion project Kim designed to create a community for women in the film industry. This was such a fun project to design, and I couldn’t be more happier with the result. The site launches February 2017, but here’s a little sneak peak of the branding I created.
I’ll be sure to post more once the website launches so stay tuned. And don’t forget to sign up for the newsletter to be notified when it launches.
My life has been filled with many wonderful projects like this, but I’m still hoping to find a full-time design job soon. I’ve had a couple interviews lately, so wish me luck! Since I’ve been working on so many web projects lately, I’ve been thinking of different ways to revamp my website, so check back to see what’s changed.
Have a great week, and stay warm!
